~Why I'm Starting a Homemaking and Homeschooling Blog~
Hi there, friends! I’m so excited to finally share the big news – I’m starting a blog about homemaking and homeschooling! If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that these two areas have become a huge part of my life and my family’s journey.I really feel like the two go hand in hand. It’s incredibly rewarding, and I want to invite you along as I share the ups and downs, the lessons learned, and the love that fills our home through this lifestyle.
~A Desire to Share Our Story ~
One of the main reasons I decided to start this blog is because I feel like there’s so much to share about homemaking and homeschooling, but it’s not always easy to find the space to do it. It’s an adventure full of joys, challenges, and a fair amount of trial and error. But more than that, it’s about creating a space where everyone wants to be.
Over the years, I’ve learned so much about making a house feel like a home, building routines that work for our family, and finding creative ways to teach my kids in a way that works for them. And I know there are so many of you out there on the same journey, or thinking about starting it. I want to be a resource for you, whether you’re just beginning or looking for fresh ideas.
~The Joys of Homemaking ~
Homemaking has always been more than just a job to me. It’s truly a passion. It's about making our home a place of comfort, beauty, and creativity. It’s where we gather as a family, where we celebrate, rest, and grow closer together.
Over time, I’ve learned that homemaking is about so much more than cleaning or cooking. It’s about creating an environment where everyone feels loved and cared for. It’s about making decisions that nurture our family’s well-being, whether through nourishing meals, organizing our spaces, or managing our time in a way that promotes peace and balance.
Through this blog, I’ll be sharing tips, DIY projects, organizing hacks, meal planning ideas, and all the little things that make our home a happy, functional place to be. Homemaking isn’t about perfection – it’s about creating a space that reflects your family’s values and rhythms. I want to encourage you to embrace the beauty of homemaking, no matter your level of experience.
~ Homeschooling – Our Learning Adventure ~
When it comes to homeschooling, it’s been an incredible journey for our family. I never imagined that I would be the one leading my children’s education ( I was not homeschooled nor was my husband) but it’s been such a rewarding experience. The flexibility, the close connection with my kids, and the chance to tailor their learning to their interests and needs have made homeschooling a perfect fit for us.
Starting this blog also gives me a chance to share our homeschool experiences with other families. Whether you’re new to homeschooling or a seasoned pro, there’s always something to learn or a new idea to try. I’ll be posting lesson ideas, curriculum reviews, activities we love, and stories about the challenges we’ve faced along the way.
I want to create a community where we can all help each other, share resources, and support one another in this beautiful, sometimes chaotic, and always fulfilling journey of homeschooling. I truly believe that homeschooling can look different for every family, and I want to celebrate all of the unique ways we all educate our children.
~Why Now?~
Why start a blog now? Well, if I’m being honest, it’s something I’ve thought about for a long time. But life is busy, and there’s always been a part of me that hesitated ( maybe because ive failed at this and so many other “buisness ideas” – wondering if I was good enough or had enough to even share. But I’ve come to realize that there’s no such thing as the “perfect” time, and that the lessons I’ve learned are worth sharing. Whether you’re looking for practical tips, homeschooling inspiration, or just a space to connect with others on the same path, I want to offer something that will help.
I also know that there’s a growing number of families who are making the shift towards homeschooling and creating intentional, loving homes. There’s a need for more voices in this space – voices that encourage and support each other, not only with practical advice but also with heart.
~What’s Next?~
In the coming weeks and months, I’ll be sharing everything from home organization tips, meal planning strategies, and homeschool resources, to personal stories, family moments, and reflections on our journey. I’ll also be taking you behind the scenes of our daily life – the messy, the beautiful, and everything in between. I hope you’ll join me as we explore this exciting journey of homemaking and homeschooling together.
Thank you so much for being here and taking the time to read this post. I can’t wait to share more with you all. If you have any questions or topics you’d like me to cover, feel free to leave a comment below or send me a message. I’d love to hear from you!
Let’s make our homes and our homeschooling experiences something beautiful, meaningful, and full of joy.
With love and excitement,
